The Solution

Planet Pharma provided resources to assist the client’s transition and implementation, and devised a plan that included:

• Early engagement with key client team members to ensure trust and remain informed on all transition and implementation steps
• Planet Pharma’s recruitment teams to further assist in the smooth transition of existing resources and quick identification of new resources
• Re-evaluated current CRA resources and recommended a more efficient staffing model to reduce cost and variability
• Governance and communication structures implemented
• Resource planning for fluctuating workloads and effective regional distribution
• KPI/metric development

The Results

• The resources we staffed were able to take over the global monitoring of the 2 existing studies (65 sites) and bring on additional resources to cover one new study with a 12% cost reduction for the client.
• The streamlined communication and governance structures allowed the client’s internal team to spend more time on managing start-up of new studies and to effectively manage their workload while ensuring effective involvement with the monitoring teams.
